We collect the data you send through forms or contact channels, technical data needed to run the site and, only with your consent, visit analytics. The table below covers the activities on the site.

Basis: Your action, including the browser permission.
Retention: Until you change the locality or clear the site data.

How we use the data

The quote, contact, service, financing and second-hand interest forms send the message to contact@terramax.md. A request is not a firm order and does not subscribe you to a newsletter or promotional messages.

S.C. “EUROCAR LUX” S.R.L. is not a bank and does not grant credit through the site. A financing request stays with Terramax. A finance partner may receive it later only if that is needed to handle the request or you expressly ask for that step.

Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Accept all” or turn analytics on from “Customize”. “Necessary only” leaves the script off.

Legal bases

Depending on the activity, processing may rely on one of the bases below. Consent is not the basis for all processing.

your request before a contract is concluded, for forms and for discussion of a quote, a service or financing;
performance of a contract, when a request becomes a transaction;
a legal obligation, including accounting and tax records;
the controller’s legitimate interest, where your rights do not override it, for example site security and abuse prevention;
consent, where it is required, including for analytics cookies.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal. Analytics consent is withdrawn from “Cookie settings”.

Who may receive the data

Access is limited to the people and providers who need the data for that purpose.

Form messages are read by the people who handle Terramax requests. Delivery to contact@terramax.md uses Resend when that service is active. Resend processes the message content in order to deliver it, under its data processing agreement: https://resend.com/legal/dpa

The site host processes the technical data needed for the pages, weather.php and quote.php to work.

If you accept analytics, Google Ireland / Google LLC may process measurement data. Form contents are not sent to Google. Details: https://policies.google.com/privacy

A finance partner that later receives data at your request acts as a separate controller for the assessment it carries out. The site does not send files to banks.

If you write from WhatsApp or Viber, that app’s operator processes the conversation under its own policy. The links on the site do not load those apps until you open them.

Authorities may receive data when the law requires it. We do not sell data and we do not use it for paid advertising.

Transfers to other countries

Two services used by the site may process data outside the Republic of Moldova. We do not transfer form data “anywhere”.

Resend may store the message content in the United States in order to deliver the email to contact@terramax.md. The transfer follows Resend’s published data processing agreement, including standard contractual clauses: https://resend.com/legal/dpa

Google Analytics, only after consent, may process measurement data outside the Republic of Moldova, including in the United States. Form data is not part of that flow. Google’s information: https://policies.google.com/privacy

The weather forecast is requested by the site server for a locality on our list. Device coordinates are not sent to MET Norway.

How long we keep data

We do not publish one number of months for every category, because the site has no single configured period. The criteria below follow from how the site works and from legal duties.

We will reply without undue delay and, normally, within one month of receiving the request, as the law provides.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or unauthorised disclosure.

Forms are sent over HTTPS to quote.php on the same domain. We do not store passwords. Mailbox access is limited to the people who handle requests. The form limits repeated submissions from the same IP address.

No internet transmission is absolutely secure, and we do not claim that the data is completely safe.

Automated decisions

Terramax does not use data collected through this site to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects for a person.

A financing request is not approved or refused automatically on the site. Any assessment is made later by Terramax or, if you ask, by the financial institution.
